U-19 Cricket World Cup: Pakistan keen to end their journey with a win.


Pakistan wants to end their tour of the ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup with a win.

 According to details, the Pakistan U-19 cricket team, led by Rohil Nazir, lost to defending champions India in the first semi-final of the ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup 2020.  Pakistan failed to win the ICC U-19 World Cup for the third time due to a match failure.

 On the other hand, the second semi-final of the event was played between New Zealand and Bangladesh. In the match played on Thursday, Bangladesh defeated New Zealand and reached the final.  The event will be played between Pakistan and New Zealand for the third position, with the match to be played in the ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup 2020 to take place in the Wimbledon Park Benoni on Saturday, February 8.

 The national U-19 cricket team is determined to win the third position in the event, team management says all the players in the squad want to miss India by winning the match against New Zealand.  A change in the national team is expected for the match, due to waist circumstance fast bowler Tahir Hussain will not attend the match against New Zealand.


 National team head coach Ijaz Ahmed says that the match against New Zealand is of paramount importance, Pakistan will make every effort to win the match to get third position in the event.

 He said the players were under pressure after a one-sided defeat to India, but after a day's rest, all the players have participated in vigorous practice sessions.

 The head coach added that everyone in the squad wants to win the event by winning the scheduled match at Benoni on February 8.

AIjaz Ahmed said that team management has convinced the players that every day is a new day and they should focus on winning the last match and win the next match, instead of disappointment in difficult situations.  Is also an important part of the development of players.
